Alto golf club - Built on a compact site straddling two valleys. Alto golf club is very open with longer rough and undulating greens. The golf course is 6698 yds and a Par 72.
Benamor Golf Club - Located about 30 minutes east of Faro, close to Tavira. Opened in May 2000 and is very popular. It is an interesting challenge amid peaceful surroundings. Cork oaks, water and contoured greens are a feature of this course. 6017 yards Par 71.
Boavista Golf Club - Opened in January 2002 and located just west of Lagos. The rolling fairways weave their way between water hazards and shrewdly placed bunkers and breathtaking views abound. A "must play" new course. 6670 yards Par 71.
Castro Marim Atlantic Golf Club - Opened in March 2000 and it is the first phase of a luxury resort. The layout demands accurate play and has stunning mountain, river and sea views. (Buggies recommended) 6010 yards Par 72.
Laguna, Vilamoura 3 - Designed in 1990, the course has improved with age and boasts 88 bunkers and plenty of water hazards. 6707 yards Par 72.
Palmares Golf Club - The oldest course on The Algarve, enjoys an enviable position with fine views of the Bay of Lagos and the Monchique Mountains. A glorious mix of links and woodland. 6519 yards Par 71.
Parque da Floresta Golf Club - This course 16 km west of Lagos is a real roller coaster. Your golf round will take you past ravines, gaping chasms, lakes and creeks. (Buggies recommended) 6439 yards Par 72.
Pinhal, Vilamoura 2 - Tight fast greens and plenty of technical variety should keep you on your guard. 6842 yards Par 72.
Quinta da Cima Golf Club - Opened in 2001. A relatively flat course winding through almond and olive groves. Stunning views and a "must play" golf course. 6700 yards Par 72.
Salgados Golf Club - A challenging layout providing a very American feel with water coming into play on almost every hole. You need to play straight here. 6600 yards Par 72.
The Old Course, Vilamoura - The best of the four Vilamoura courses with a heavily undulating terrain. It demands a steady nerve from the tee. Accuracy is more important than length. 6924 yards Par 73.
